Words alone without visuals are – well – just less compelling. A cohesive pool of on-brand images enhances and reinforces the messaging conveyed by the copy.

We chatted with the Managing Director and the branding and design team to find out what kind of corporate photography would provide the best, most useful visual assets for their digital and print materials.

Consistency is key

Like a lot of corporate businesses, over time MARQ had ended up in a position where they didn’t have a uniform set of staff headshots, which can make the ‘about us’ section of a website or print material feel patchy and inconsistent.

Along with new staff portraits, they also wanted general purpose ‘documentary style’ images to provide visual accompaniment and better design fodder for print materials.

We spent a day on site capturing headshots and full length portraits in our portable on-white seamless studio, plus a variety of documentary style ‘at work’ images.

A range of vertical and horizontal shots allows their designer plenty of options for cropping, placement and page layouts.
