We recently got a call from William Angliss Institute, asking us to create a chef portrait for a last-minute marketing piece. As it turned out, there was a really tight timeframe which requiring a same day shoot and edit to meet the print deadline. Never shy of a challenge, Sharon was able to coordinate the shoot on location in one of the commercial kitchens onsite at the William Angliss Institute in central Melbourne, and turn around the required…
Meet Sam, Helper of People. He’s a Pharmacy Business Manager for AmCal as well as being a working paramedic – oh and he also did volunteer help during the Victorian bushfires last summer. Sharon was commisioned to shoot an editorial portrait of Sam for the October cover of PostScript magazine – here’s the final cover shot, plus an image that didn’t make the mag but was one of our faves :D
Image Workshop photographer Sharon Blance absolutely loves all forms of show biz, and one of her favourite assignments is to create promo photography for performers of all kinds. Sarah is a dance champion in her home country New Zealand, where she also runs a dance school teaching 1920s-1940s styles. If…

He approached Image Workshop photographer Sharon Blance to shoot the cover story for the magazine’s launch – featuring Chris Gurney from Bakers Delight, who was instrumental in growing the brand for over a decade. The magazine wanted high…

For example, the ‘ode-to-Tesla’ image I’ve had rattling around in my brain for a few years now involves, among other things, a Nikola Tesla look-alike, a live pigeon and a room-sized…
New portrait photography work from a recent shoot by Brence. Timmy is a pop-culture junkie by day; bartender by night, and a crackin’ good laugh to hang out with. These studio portraits were shot with an editorial feel, and portray a sense of his personality and personal style. Check out our portfolio to see more of our portrait photography work.

Image Workshop was commissioned by digital agency NV Interactive to supply photography for two websites which have both recently received Bronze status at the Awards.

Our latest image series Quiet // Motion, conceived and shot by Brence, explores the strange interplay of stillness and motion, using everyday people as subjects.
